To have a house, no matter where in the world is located, is a real wealth, but to have it in two and a yard is probably what we might call luxury as relative as this concept. And that is precisely the background of this elegant modern house in town Tel Aviv, Israel. The owners have lived a long time in the same place in an old house, but they are given the opportunity to buy neighboring Israeli properties to their land. And since no design feature their previous house to expand, they decided to build a second – now in the big yard. The architectural and interior design of the building was created by Nurit Leshem from Studio Nurit Leshem Interior Design. The new house has a floor area of ??120 sq m, and the total already yard is 500 sq m.
Architects and designers are challenged to design a new house so that it not only harmonize with the existing building, but to build a visual and functional link between the two volumes. Beautiful garden with swimming pool is a unifying center not only for recreation and entertainment for the family, but also between the two buildings. The covered porch with summer kitchen and barbecue next to the pool, where they organized a very nice places for recreation. The architectural appearance of the house determines the interior design – the large panoramic windows of the facade are only notional barrier between residential volumes and exterior.
On this basis, the designers also rely on soft pastel tones in the furnishings to achieve a comprehensive picture, inspired by the surrounding landscape and concurrent peaceful holiday atmosphere that radiates courtyard. The first level features a spacious lounge area and study room and the second bedroom are designed for family members as well as guests. Staircase with interesting and elegant railings connects the two floor. Used materials like stone and wood home furnishings contribute significantly significantly to the creation of unity and harmony between the buildings. The older house was also completely renovated and adapted well to the current needs of the family and the entire refurbished space.
